Steve Swanson
 

 

Steve Swanson was born to perform. He loves to entertain an audience.

Playing club dates since he was 13 years old, Steve has performed with bands up and down the East coast. From Maryland to Miami ... Texas to Tennessee and THE BAHAMAS.


He's performed as keyboardist at the "World Famous" Chautauqua Institution with Ben E. King of the Drifters, Smokey Robinson, Sandy Duncan, Manhattan Rhythm Kings just to name a few.

 
 
He earned his Bachelors/Masters Degree from Fredonia State University. Composer/singer/songwriter/record producer/Public School Music teacher/ High School and Elementary Band & Chorus/Church Organist/Choir Director Steve has also taken part in community efforts to raise money for area Food banks/Soup Kitchens in his hometown area.
 
 
Accomplishments
 
He co-wrote and released the song "There's A REAL BIG NEED" which involved over 100 area students singing in a large County Youth Choir. Featured on AM BUFFALO, this fine piece of work may be purchased for $5. THE TOTAL COST is turned directly over to St, Susan's Soup Kitchen in Jamestown, NY. He also is one of the organizers for the Bemus Bay Pops Labor Day concert
 
 
Currently
 
 
Steve resides in his home town of Jamestown, NY with his wife "Rosita" and their two children Sarita Maré and Stephen II. Currently he teaches music and performs with his groups as well as with other bands in the area.
