What?
The Bemus Bay Pops is a series of outdoor concert events of historic proportions, featuring world-class musicians from the Chautauqua Region as well as national acts featured on our Floating Stage on the splendid Chautauqua Lake.  To learn more about what events are coming up, please click here.

When?
Every weekend all summer long we provide a variety of entertainment such as music concerts including classical, swing, jazz, and modern.  During the weekdays throughout the summer we have events like the Lake Night at the Movies, hilarious comedy troupes, and various other events.

Where?
On the beautiful waterfront of the Bemus Bay, which is on Chautauqua Lake in the charming village of Bemus Point NY, which is between Buffalo NY and Erie PA. (Click here for Yahoo Maps leading to Bemus Point, NY)

The Bemus Bay Pops concerts are performed outdoors on the amazing Floating Stage on Lake Chautauqua in Bemus Point NY. The unique geographical layout of Bemus Point results in a number of beautiful waterfront areas, one of which has been deemed the Bemus Bay. The floating stage is a 60 ft by 60 ft square dock-like structure with an inverted saddle-type canopy that acts as a natural band shell.

Guests can watch all the Bemus Bay Pops events that occur on the Floating Stage from either the shoreline directly in front of the stage on the Bemus Bay shore, or from the water surrounding the stage in a boat on the beautiful Chautauqua Lake.

Since 1998 the Bemus Bay Pops have enjoyed large crowds and festive celebrations. Enjoy western New York's best outdoor concert season. Every season has been a huge success with hundreds and even thousands of people coming out week after week to be a part of the action. With dozens of events every year, we continue to supply the upstate NY and Erie PA regions with free entertainment that the whole family can enjoy. However without you, our audience, the Bemus Bay Pops would not be the success it is, so thank you for being a part of our Bemus Bay Pops family.

The 5th Chautauqua Lake Idol contest will begin at 6:30pm on Monday June 30th on the Floating Stage. Come out and root for your favorite regional contestant. The contest continues on Monday's throughout July - the 7th, 21st, and 28th. Picking up again in August on the 4th, with the Big Finale on August 18th! Don't miss our very own Chautauqua Lake Idol!
